Why You Should Sweat More: A Lesson From The Spartans You Can Apply Now.

Today is about practice. Whatever that may look like for you at whichever stage you're in. And today I'm inspired by a very old creed - the Spartan Warrior Credo.

"He who sweats more in training, bleeds less in war."

It's from their principles. The rules they followed.

Simple, and very clear.

There's another quote that comes to mind that Ryan Holiday uses all the time;

"We do not rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training"

So, train.

Even if you don't feel like it. Even if you don't have any time today. Even if it's raining outside and it's a miserable day.

Make the pain of NOT practicing greater than practicing. That's the only way to succeed.

If you're struggling to keep up with it - change your environment. Go to a cafe. Go to the park. Go to the library. Go to the gym.

Your momentum will start as soon as you leave your comfort zone - which also means the physical place you feel most comfortable.

Your questions for today:

"What would it take for you to do 30 days of practice? Is the goal worth it?"
