Self-belief is contagious, share it more often

This week in a nutshell:

  • Took the risk to drive on the wrong side of the road in a busy city. Didn’t die.

  • Took the risk to drive up a mountain pass one-way road that no one was going up and had german signs we couldn’t read. Didn’t die. Turned around when a tree stopped us from going further up.

  • Took a risk to hike off trail on a mountain. Found the nicest waterfall we’ve ever seen, falling into the snow. Didn’t die.

  • Took the risk to contact 10 random c-suite level people based in the UK and offer consulting work. Didn’t die.

This inspired my wife to start her own business, join me in the extremely steep hike we did to the waterfall, and start challenging herself more.

What did this make me realise?

By not challenging myself, I’m being selfish. There could be so much potential that you unlock in someone just by doing something that you find uncomfortable.

Chances are - you won’t die.

Keep pushing.
